ProStaffSelect are recruiting a MANAGERESS / FEMALE MANAGER for this Private Villa 46-seater wine estate restaurant in the Franschhoek Winelands. We are looking for very strong, highly organised, attractive and bubbly female candidates to fill this unique position. The Restaurant Manageress carries the full responsibility for managing the front office team and ensuring professional, warm & friendly yet highly efficient a la carte service.

General Requirements:
Candidates with a GENUINE PASSION for exceptional FOOD AND WINE service
Bubbly and OUTGOING PERSONALITY with excellent communication and guest relation skills,
Able to introduce highly polished service delivery yet with a RELAXED ATMOSPHERE,
Thorough FOOD & WINE KNOWLEDGE and excellent service techniques,
Highly effective at MOTIVATING staff and ensuring a POSITIVE & ENERGETIC work atmosphere,
Excellent written and verbal COMMUNICATION SKILLS to deal with guests, staff and liaise with head chef and kitchen,
SALES & MARKETING focused individual willing to share and implement INNOVATIVE IDEAS.
Female candidates with OVERSEAS and/or work EXPERIENCE within Eat Out Top 10 Restaurants highly advantageous

Job Requirements:
Work with daily bookings, invoices, emails and correspondence,
Staff scheduling and meetings to discuss menu highlights, set up requirements and service standards,
Organising and training of service staff to ensure excellent standards,
Ensure optimal efficiency of Point of Sale and Back of House software systems as well office admin on Excel, Word and Office,
Effective planning and organising of functions and events,
Ongoing assessment of FOOD and WINE pairing,
Experience in procurement / sourcing of hiring of staff and equipment,
Good people skills, resourceful thinker & innovative worker.

Additional Info:
Permanent appointment / position
Own transport essential with valid drivers license,
Operating hours Tuesday to Sunday with lunch and dinner daily except lunch only on Sundays,
Foster close working relationship with farm owners, wine maker and restaurant operators,
Responsibilities include all ordering, menu suggestions, coordinating of small group functions and daily communication with various suppliers, travel partners etc
Strong systems person and financial acumen are also key attributes to this position.
