Senior Restaurant Manager - Stellenbosch

Pick Me Recruitment is looking for an Experienced Restaurant Manager to manage an intimate 44-seater Restaurant in Stellenbosch. The perfect candidate is someone with a formal Hospitality Qualification, extensive Wine Knowledge, excellent operational skills, experience in running a busy, sophisticated restaurant, strong leadership and management skills, guest and service centric.
It is a pre-requisite that the prospective candidate resides in the Helderberg or Winelands area and has a valid driver's licence. Previous Fine Dining experience will be advantageous.
Minimum Requirements
• A qualification in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
• Excellent wine knowledge. WSET or CWA qualification will be advantageous
• Able to ensure efficient running and profitability of the restaurant operations
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence
• Able to effectively manage and lead a team
• Excellent operational and leadership skills essential
• Excellent communication skills on all levels
• Guest and service centric
• Computer literate
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead the overall front of house restaurant operations
• Implementation and management of Standard Operating Procedures
• Continued staff development and training
• Ensure service excellence
• Supplier liaison and inventory control
• Ensure all Covid-19 and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
Remuneration: R15 -000 - R18 000 (Relating to experience)
