Qualifications essential: Bachelor’s HR degree in training and development (Human Resources)
Qualified SDF assessor essential- send copy
Minimum 5 years ‘experience designing and delivering corporate technical engineering training programs and leadership development programs experience essential
Experience conducting needs assessments and performance gap analysis experience of the above
Previous strong experience gained in technical engineering training
Excellent experience gained in working within a technical engineering company in development and training is essential
Devise training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes
Ensure enhancement of employee skills, performance, productivity and quality of work. Identify, develop, manage various learning initiatives that facilitate skills development, leadership development and employee retention.
Overall development of the L&D function that includes legislative and statistical reporting and ensures compliance.
Excellent administration and facilitation skills.
Well-developed written and oral communication.
Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels (both internal and external).
Attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy.
Ability to manage own time and able to prioritise (in terms of risk and urgency) projects and activities. Strong service ethic and ensures that learning needs are met.
