Our client, a leading international Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Superintendent Leadership Development person at their Training Academy near Carletonville.

Summary:
The role of a Superintendent Leadership Development is to manage the development and co-design of new Leadership Development programmes, determine needs for the design of new programs or the customization and tailoring of generic Leadership Development programmes.

The appointee should:

Be in possession of a Degree in Human Resource Management
Have at least 6-8 years’ experience in a HR generalist role
Be proficient in MS Office package
Have thorough knowledge of the importance of Talent management in the development of organisational capacity building and the linking with Human Capital Development programmes
Have in-depth HR experience in the full employee life cycle
Have planning, organizing, and leadership capability
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be conscientious , diligent, strong analytical skill, assertive and deadline driven
Have understanding of Sibanye Stillwater Operating Model and Strategy
Be able to work in a team and be results orientated
Be approachable and have problem solving abilities / skill
Have the ability to cope and survive in an environment of uncertainty and to adapt to diverse cultures
Be an articulate communication who is able to explain the company’s Human Resources Development vision and strategy
Have the ability to engage and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders
Be declared medically fit to function in the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at a relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational

Advantageous requirements:

6 – 8 years’ experience in Mining Industry

Key responsibilities include:

Liaise with external providers on the content of leadership development programmes
Determine needs for the design of new programs or the customisation and tailoring of generic Leadership Development programmes
Manage the development and co-design of new Leadership Development programmes
Review current Leadership Development programmes and make design improvement recommendations
Ensure that HRD programmes are marketed to relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
Establish partnerships with learning institutions to develop and deliver best in class and tailored learning programmes
Source, negotiate with and contract service providers
Oversee the delivery of Leadership Development programmes as per SLA’s
Evaluate education, training and development (ETD) providers, services and programmes for organisational use and evaluate training proposals
