General Manager
• A Degree in Restaurant/Hotel management with 3yrs practical experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage, maintain and be responsible for a professional Restaurant image according to the company standards, and procedures policies .
• Oversee excellent communication with Head Office, management, staff and provide a team player environment.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with the high-quality dining experience and investigate and resolve complaints.
• Duties, Supervise, Motivate, and manage the following: ordering food and supplied, minimize waste, regularly check the inventory, boosts sales and profits, hygiene regulations etc.
• Be a Team Leader with Management Skills, Staff Training and prepare Monthly Rosters.
• Have Computer literary on Microsoft Excel and Word and be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to also work evening and weekend shifts and deal with high volume of customers during events and functions etc.
• Have strong leadership, multitask, analytical, problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, motivated and deadline orientated etc. abilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own car.
Restaurant Administrator and Stock Control:
• Minimum 3yrs of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with good analytical and reporting skills.
• Daily, Weekly, and monthly administrative requirements, hourly and salaried employee documents submissions, capturing invoices, daily cash ups and feedback to GM.
• Storeroom stock control reverting with feedback and action plans to manage and prevent stock losses.
• Can work with Accounting System, POS systems, cost, and inventory systems with high-level to detail.
• Constant communication with the management team and daily post-shift handover makes use of the handover email.
• Brief handover meetings on changeover to ensure all operational requirements are met as follows:
- Daily security operational requirements.
- Daily pre and post shifts checklists are completed, checked, and filed.
- Responsible and accountability for KPI’s – 80% Pass on Audit.
- Work independently and in an environment of teamwork.
