Our client is seeking to employ an accounting clerk to perform a variety of accounting functions.

The ideal applicant should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in an accounting clerk role

Good command of English (both written and spoken)
Sound understanding and working knowledge of computer and office applications such as Pastel Accounting, IQ Retail and Excel spreadsheets. (Advanced level Excel)
Daily cash up reconciliations;
Stock data capture;
Monitoring of stock controls and counts;
Debtor and Creditor reconciliations;
Staff attendance registers;
Daily management reports;
Flair for numbers;
Preparing and monitoring accounting documents and records.
