Resposibilities:
Adopt a preventative approach to maintenance.
Collect vibration data as per schedule and provide analysis to maintenance personnel.
Perform periodic inspections on he main line and critical plant equipment, e.g. mainline conveyors, turbines, centrifugal machines, ID fans etc.
Perform laser alignment on plant equipment as and when required.
Requirements:

Matric
Fitting Trade Test
A minimum of Cat 1 vibration analysis and working towards Cat 3
At least 5 years experience on high speed rotating equipment, either working as a fitter or vibration technician.
Proven record of high performance in own manifested by excellent plant uptime, longevity of plant assets and superior housekeeping.’
Knowledge of the sugar mill is preferable
