Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance Related) / National Diploma in Internal Auditing / Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or an equivalent qualification. *3-5 years’ experience in land restitution processes. *Knowledge of Financial Management processes and procedures. *Project management skills. *Good planning, organising and problem-solving skills. *Excellent Communication (written and verbal) skills. *Computer literacy skills. *Supervisory experience.
Duties:
*Quality assure submissions. *Provide management reporting. *Respond to enquiries relating to quality assurance. *Provide quality assurance with regard to content, language, compliance, completeness and accuracy of submissions on land claims by setting and implementing standards, procedures as well as reviewing files. *Implement project management methodology from the management of land claims. *Provide assistance in the prevention of unauthorised, irregular and fruitless expenditure. *Formulate creative and innovative solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery. *Advice and assist the office on all issues of compliance regarding policy, legislation and procedures. *Assist Regional Offices in quality assurance functions, where necessary. *Prepare submissions for presentation to the Quality Control Committee / Chief Land Claims Commissioner / Minister. *Supervise subordinates. *Verify financial compensation calculations and offers. *Provide support to the National Director: Quality Assurance in the performance of his / her office’s functions by representing the Director in meetings and managing the directorate in the Director’s absence.
