JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 or equivalent academic qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources and or in Retirement Funds Management will be an advantage.
- Experience in Retirement Funds, Death Distribution and Disability administration will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office; Excel at least on an intermediate level.
- Sound administrative skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in multiple African languages.
JOB OUTPUTS
• Responsible for Retirement Fund Benefit administration, notably Retirements, Funerals, Withdrawals and Retrenchments.
• Responsible for a portfolio of Member Funds and provide an integrated and effective service by ensuring that the funds are administered correctly and timeously as per the rules of the fund and applicable agreements.
• Ensure all Retirement Fund documentation is received from Divisions for processing and the Fund notified of the claims timeously.
• Attend to Retirement Fund related queries (both written and telephonic) from members, and escalate queries when necessary.
• Effective and timeous administration of 24 Hour Accident Cover and COID claims.
• Assist with Death distribution cases and investigations.
• Assist with handling and management of the disability processes from start to finish as well as monthly recons.
• Attend Admin meetings regularly.
• Liaise with members, Fund Administrators and Insurers regularly.
• Collate and update progress schedules regularly and compile stats monthly.
• Ensure compliance to policy procedure rules and agreements.
• Maintain a good record keeping / filing system.
