R20 to R25k basic plus car allowance/petrol card and incentives as well as performance bonus

A successful and expanding company in the technical services industry is currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager who has exceptional management and sales skills that is well connected in the PE region.

REQUIREMENTS:
A tertiary qualification will be beneficial
At least 3 years’ experience in a management role managing a minimum of 15 people
Preferably a technical background in technical-, logistics-, agricultural-, manufacturing- or building and construction industry
Experience in this geographical area (PE) a non-negotiable

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Financial Management:
Plan and execute an annual budget
Cash flow management, expense control
Debtors management,
Actual vs budget analyses and reports

Operational management:
Stock forecasting
Responsible of movement of equipment
Monitors and directs all Regional rental company operations.
Adhere to, execute and enforce all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Monitor and review Regional business performance through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
Take overall responsibility for customer service. Maintains customer relationship standards.
Maximise the use and effectiveness of all company assets

Sales & Customer Service:
Monitors customers complaints
Monitors customer satisfaction

Technical:
Ensure all assets are maintained according to company standards
Implement and control an Occupational health and safety standards
Ensure that any user of any piece of equipment has the appropriate skills, training and licensing

General Management:
Generate appropriate and informative reports regarding the qualitative and quantitative performance of the Region
Basic understanding of the legal and contractual aspects of dealing with suppliers
Monitors and reviews Region performance through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
Develops plans to improve Region performance.
Maintains quality control standards.
Monitors competitor activities and prices.
Evaluates equipment needs, identifies non-performing assets. Suggests equipment purchases.
Reviews and updates rental contracts.
