My client is a company in the credit providing industry. They are currently looking for a Branch Manager to manage all aspects of the branch and ensure that it functions profitably, carries out the image of the company and complies with all statutory requirements. In order to achieve the above mentioned. It is essential that you achieve certain objectives as agreed with the company.

EXPERIENCE
• 5 Years’ experience in a micro finance environment,
• 3 Years management experience,
• Must have a proven track record of achieving targets and goals in a medium to large branch environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
• At least grade 12 with mathematics,
• A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage,
• Computer Literate
• Drivers' License required.

KEY OUTPUT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Most frequent duties in order of importance are indicated below, but are not limited to,
• Canvasing for new clients according to agreed marketing and promotional activities with management
• Re-activation of existing client data base by telephone and sms campaigns
• Implement and maintain client service champion process
• Ensure the collection of repayments on all current loans, all arrear loans and all written-off loans
• Manage the debtors' book and report back on all overdue and written-off accounts as per requests from management
• Perform the weekly branch reconciliation of client accounts
• Establish and maintain financial controls in the branch
• Management of all staff and staff performance in your branch
• Evaluating all loan applications from clients that includes the following, but are not limited to,
o Affordability Calculations
o Employment Confirmation
o Validate documentation for authenticity
o Analyze Client Personal information for authenticity
• Check all loan applications for completeness and ensure that all documents are attached and completed in full
• Ensure that all applications meet the minimum requirements of the company policies and procedures and that all applications meet the minimum requirements of the applicable legislation.
• Ensure that all prepaid debit cards are issued in line with company policy and procedures
• Approve and release funds into clients’ loan accounts
• Check and handle the cash on hand on a daily basis
• Ensure deposits are banked
• Withdrawal of cheques (withdrawal of cash for the branch at the bank)
• Complete the daily branch audit of client files
• Compile the required reports on a daily, weekly & monthly frequency
• Complete the monthly branch audit
• Take ownership and responsibility for your branch’s growth
• Manage and comply to all company policies, procedures internal business processes
• Ensure that your branch meet the minimum requirements of all legislation applicable on our industry
• General office duties
• The employee undertakes to conduct all projects, services and activities associated with the specific designated task and to comply with all reasonable and fair instructions given by the employer.
