A Buyers Assistant is required for a clothing distribution company in East London
Job Function: To assist the Buyers with managing their orders, supply chain and samples.
Responsibilities:
Orders administration: Update OTB sheets and notify Buyers, manage kimble, swing tag and courier requirements, product and order control.
Reporting: follow up on outstanding orders, compile competitive pricing reports as well as specific reports eg. best/worst sellers  
Order delivery & quality approvals: sign off product deliveries, sign off on product quality using samples received from  the warehouse.  .
Samples Control: sample follow up with suppliers, maintain sample archiving processes.
Store Support: feedback to relevant persons on store and customer complaints 
Requirements:
Matric Certificate
Valid code 8 licence
Excellent administrative skills.
