We are looking to hire a channel manager in our clients office based in JHB.

Responsibilities
Projection and execution of sales targets – both revenue growth and churn.
Take responsibility and ownership for analysing and understanding the client’s needs and requirements.
Maintain an active, intimate relationship with Internet Solutions at all levels and gain a full understanding of their business, including back-office processes, sales and marketing plans and internal support mechanisms.
Manage and coordinate multifunctional areas within the organisation to provide value to the client.
Develop and execute strategies.
Grow all vertical segments within the channel.
Ensure that account strategies are established with key stakeholders within the specific vertical or region.
Align both parties’ sales strategies to ensure strategic objectives are met.
Build enduring relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities.
Generate demand by assisting client managers to identify and qualify opportunities and articulate how to add value through our solution.
Leverage existing relationships and the knowledge of the end user environment to meet the needs of the client at every stage of the buying cycle.
Use internal processes, tools and methodologies to effectively manage your channel, larger clients opportunities, pipelines and forecast (e.g. Dynamics)
Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product directions and design and communicate information back to sales organization and vice versa.
Ensure that the company occupies a “first in mind” position within the IS / DD Group and is able to differentiate our Value Proposition from those of competitors.
Manage Customers/Partners and ensure that they are skilled with the relevant knowledge of the company Product and trained accordingly.
Drive a sales culture by sharing best practices, developing and sustaining cross functional relationships and filtering information downwards.
Ensure client satisfaction.
Prepare and maintain a budget.

Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years of experience within Sales / Channel Management (IT/Backup background is a plus)
Exceptional client service skills (i.e. building and maintaining client relationships)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Excellent presentation, numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in multitasking, time management & organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Work well in a team as well as independently.
Motivation for Sales.
Own transport required.
