Our client within the Port operations environment seeks a qualified Chief Marine Engineer Officer, capable of functioning within a highly pressured environment, to achieve business objectives in an environment of empowerment and transformation.

Minimum Requirements:

Must obtain a certificate of Competence as Chief Marine Engineer (Port Operations)
Must obtain a certificate of Competency as Second Engineer Officer issued in terms of the Merchant Shipping Act STCW-3000 KW
Must comply with SAMSA medical requirements (Merchant Shippint Act)
Able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces
Must be prepared to work a 12 hour shift pattern
