Our client, a leading Property Management organisation, is seeking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to form a pivotal role in their leadership team. This position will report into the Asset Management Head on the day to day operations and execution of strategy. This role coordinates and collaborates with the firm's business heads to handle operational matters relating to, but not limited to operations, finance, IT, HR, governance, integrity, quality, compliance, facilities, premises and reporting across the business.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of a B.Degree with 5 years related COO (Property Management) experience
• A proven track record of working in a COO role, within a Property Management business, but other closely-related backgrounds will be considered.
• You will be a highly entrepreneurial and strategically minded.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently presenting complex information to senior leaders.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• A finisher with a flexible and adaptive approach; someone who can facilitate change, growth and development.
• Proven track record of success, facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation.
• Superior management skills, with the ability to influence and engage with direct and indirect reports and peers.
• Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
• Hard working, able to handle fast pace and high pressure
• Candidate must be resident within 30kms of Bryanston at time of application.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and oversee the company's operational policies, procedures, initiatives, and goals. Help the organisation execute long-term and short-term plans and directives by implementing judgement, vision, management, and leadership.
• Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Asset Management, Board Members and Financial Team to develop and deliver the strategic vision.
• Developing processes and infrastructure, translating strategies into action helping the business innovate and grow.
• Responsibility for overhead efficiencies and overhead savings.
• Acting internal leader of the organisation delivering measurable, cost effective results.
• Accountability for the budget planning process, in partnership with the CFO and heavily influence the priorities where biggest return on investment can be achieved
• Leading the operational management of the business
