COLOUR MATCHER JOB VACANCY

Our client in Johannesburg Gauteng has a vacant job opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of Colour Matcher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and organize all matches in colour lab.
• Match paints and stains to customer specifications.
• Record and communicate formulations in a clear and unambiguous manner, noting any special features or requirements.
• Perform Quality Control checks on all colour matches prior to the shipment of samples.
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills
• An eye for colour.
• Knowledge of wood stains, lacquers, finishes and solvent.
• Prior experience colour matching

Requirements
• Must have full perception of the colour spectrum, and the ability to create formulas in a timely manner using available materials.
• Previous experience in paint/coatings tinting.
• Requires basic computer proficiency.
• Must have basic math knowledge.
• Must maintain strong attention to detail and be able to multi-task.

Salary
• R12 000 – R15 000
