Commercial Accounts Sales / Finance Manager - Uitenhage
Overall responsibility for ensuring that the objectives of the Commercial Department are achieved. Manage and co-ordinate all activities and relationships of the company in SA with their customers. Apply a strategic commercials sales plan in accordance with General Manager's guidelines whilst complying with policies & corporate procedures set out by HQ. Reach commercial objectives in line with sales targets & profitability targets with all customers in a short, medium & long term. Must be able to plan, lead, organize & control all personnel under his control.
Main Duties include :
Business Plan: Responsible to achieve annual business plan targets for the company Commercial Report: Responsible for reviewing and submitting annual commercial report to General Manager and headquarters
Margin Analysis: Responsible for ensuring that the customers remain within the raw material percentage usage as budgeted and quarterly calculation checking review via margin analysis calculation
Sales Price Updates: Responsible to ensure quarterly foreign exchange selling price updates are concluded for all customers of the company and that such pricing is updated on time at the beginning of each quarter on the company financial software system. Further responsible for annual price adjustments per customer due to variable or fixed costs increases and service part piece price annual increases.
Outstanding payments from customers: Responsible to clear any outstanding payment issues with customers as escalated by the Finance Manager and debtors clerk, including but not limited to tooling, foreign exchange and price adjustments provisions
Project Launching: Responsible to ensure successful project launching together with supporting departments engineering and/or projects
Minutes of customer meetings: Responsible for all customer liaison within the company pertaining to new business development as well as maintaining current business. Minutes of all customer meetings to be maintained and distributed to general manager and those present at the meeting
Customer Satisfaction: Responsible as direct customer liaison, customer marketing & follow up with customer on any issues of concern to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times
Customer Quotations: Responsible for the determining of feasibility, selling price calculation, RFQ submission, project follow up and achieving of new business prospects quoted for with the assistance of any of the following: Members of the Board of Directors, Spanish Partners/headquarters, General Manager, Technical Director, Projects Engineer or Nominated Project Team
Annual Pricing Reviews: Responsible for annual price review increase for each customer, as well as submission of action plan relating to cost optimizations of selling price to customer
Annual Sales Budget: Submit Annual Budget Projection in terms of Sales volumes and economics
Department Action Plan: Submit weekly action plan as to progress of open commercial department items
Education: Matric and Degree or National Diploma/On the Job Experience in Sales, Marketing and Costing/Computer Literate (Excel, MS Projects, MS Word and Internet). Must have at least 5 Years' experience in Projects, Costing, Sales and Marketing and Must have at least 5 Years' experience in the Automotive Industry.
