The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
• The implementation of critical HR practices related to Transformation, including Employment Equity, Talent and Performance Management and Diversity Management
• Implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), Annual training report (ATR) and Employment Equity Report and Plan (EEP).
• Oversee the Recruitment process is adhered to
• Advising and assisting Managers with recruitment and selection
• Conduct and develop Industrial Relations related training
• Manage the implementation and application of disciplinary and grievance procedures and policies
• Represent the company at the CCMA and Statutory Council
• Maintain and update all labour related policies and procedures, ensuring the enforcement and adherence of these policies and procedures by advising and monitoring management and staff
• Facilitate and maintain a good working relationship with unions and union officials
• Facilitate and conduct negotiations / consultations for the group
• Establishing and maintaining monitoring systems and HR administrative procedures
• Review and continuously improve policies and procedures and guidelines for the HR function
• Provide input into rewards and incentive schemes
• Project management capability with the ability to manage concurrent HR projects across the organisation
• Implementation of processes and HR systems to improve work flow

Minimum Requirements:
• Must possess a Human Resources qualification or equivalent
• Must have 5 years HR Management experience or 5 years Senior HR generalist experience
• Have detailed understanding of the LRA, BCEA, BBBEE, EE Act, Skills Development Act, and all relevant employment legislation
• Have in-depth knowledge of current labour legislation guiding employment conditions and legislated reporting and planning requirements
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Highly competent in Industrial Relations
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
• Must be computer literate - Word, Excel & PowerPoint are essential
• A valid driver’s license is essential
• Experience in and knowledge of the media industry would be an advantage
