Our client is a prominent FMCG organisation with their head office in Durban.

The position is based in CATO RIDGE at their Distribution Centre .

The position reports to the Demand Planning Manager.

The main duties of the position are :

1. Managing in stock position
2. Managing stock levels
3. Managing discontinued, suspended and slow moving lines
4. Monitoring supplier strike rates as per delivery schedule
5. Supplier interactions( returns & uplifts)
6. Forecasting demand for peaks and promotions
7. Placing of Cycle orders with suppliers
8. Ensuring allowances and efficiencies are received
9. Highlight stock adjustments ( shrinkage to DC operations)
10. Damages vs swell allowanace
11. Highlight ranging issues to range department

Please note this position is based in Cato Ridge which will require travelling to get to work
