Fast growing energy saving lights manufacturer seeks Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production.

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the energy saving lights manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Note: It is anticipated that the role will grow extensively over the next 5 years. The person must be willing to take on new responsibilities.

Production Management:
* Create Production Schedules
* Execute Production Schedules
* Raw Materials Planning
* Manage Stores
* Reduce wastage and losses

Assist Sales
* Provide Technical Backup to Sales Team (The types of lights required in the customer environment)

Leading Team
* Manage team of 5 people
* Provide technical guidance to the team
* Get involved hands-on
* Motivate team to achieve schedules
* Motivate team to produce with high quality
* Liaise with internal depts and customers

Strategic Enhancement

Background work experience:

* 3 years electrical component manufacturing experience
* 2 years production management - preferably in Lighting or Electrical components

* Electrical Certification e.g. Trade Test Electrician
* Adv: Dip Electrical Engineering

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R 300K to R 420K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
