FACTORY MANAGER

MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS
• Tertiary qualification in Factory Management
• Experience in Shop Fitting or similar environment (kitchens, furniture, BICs)
• Working knowledge of the financial system
• Computer literate ( an understanding of Edgecam or similar CNC programming would be an advantage)
Job Specification
Primary responsibilities include:
• Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve service, cost, quality and safety performance
• Uses performance feedback information based on standard line speeds and productivity rates to optimize work group productivity and labour efficiency
• Supervises the development and execution of crewing, materials, and equipment plans that generate service levels consistent with Company objectives
• Manages material usage to ensure minimal waste, and maximum yield while maintaining strict adherence to formulations and specifications
• Works with receiving and purchasing functions to ensure proper rotation and optimum inventory levels for all materials and supplies
• Manages production activity to ensure compliance with all formulations, specifications, methods, procedures and practices so that product quality meets all specifications and standard for wholesomeness, appearance, dimension and weight
• Supervises operation to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulation, as well as company safety policies, procedures and standards
• Supervises employee performance, recognizing and rewarding positive contributions, and exercising the Company’s progressive discipline policies when applicable
• Trains and develops employees to support key performance goals for the Company
