My client, a leading chemical manufacturer is seeking to employ a Fire Officer who will be responsible for all aspects of fire prevention, emergency incident/accident management, and external incident management. Ensure that safety standards are met throughout the company by doing risk assessments for safe work

Duties:

Determine fire protection methods and design systems to ensure safe guarding
Ensure compliance to standards and procedures for management of fire management of unit business plans and resources
Ensure successful incident management and prevention thereof
Ensure that safety standards are met throughout the company

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire department & ambulance emergency assistant
Matric + relevant qualification
Safety certificate
Senior Fire Certificate
Ambulance Emergency Assistance (registered with HPSCA)
Must be in possession of a valid code C driver’s licence
Own reliable vehicle
