Our client, a top-end Retail brand, is offering determined and driven Sales Associates the opportunity to sell rare luxury items in a team environment. This position is for a floating/relief Sales Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to work between the Cavendish and Tygervalley branches and must therefore have his/her own reliable vehicle.
Suitable candidates must be passionate about wealth preservation and/or gold

Duties:
• Interacting with customers and pushing sales
• Ensuring that Personal and Store targets are met
• Identifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals and constantly seeking new clients
• Serving customers through effective enquiry handling, operational transactions and continuous, professional communication
• Creating a ‘5 Star’ experience so that customers become life-time collectors and fans of this alternative asset class
• Handling of cash, credit cards, bank transfers and cheques
• Assisting with stock counts as per procedures and standards
• Ensuring that merchandise is attractively and accurately displayed
• General administration and assisting in store efficiency as required

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Valid driver’s licence with own reliable vehicle
• Strong selling skills coupled with a proven track record in sales
• Sales experience in a luxury brand and/or retail environment will be an advantage
• Relationship networking skills would be an advantage
• Strong client centricity
• Strong team player
• Basic skills of Microsoft Suite Packages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional outlook and demeanour
• Ability to follow up and follow through
• Strong ethical intelligence
• Willing to learn
• Willing to work retail hours, weekends and Public Holidays (6 hour shifts on average)
• Ability to think on feet with a high level of awareness

Salary on offer: R 6000 basic + Commission
