Location: Paarl/Simondium, Western Cape

Description: A chocolate factory is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. Key duties will include but is not limited to: responsible for overall production of Chocolate and related manufacturing and packaging at our Simondium and Paarl facilities; production planning and scheduling; raw materials and packaging procurement; interface with Food Scientist and support of FSSC 22000 and IBL food safety system; interface with and support our production kitchen and head pastry chef; ensure product quality; managing all production personnel (10 permanent and 15 temporary staff) and related issues including all legal issues and disciplinary hearings; management of Occupational health and safety management system; preventative maintenance program; all emergency repair issues including managing sub-contractor companies.

Key Requirements: Minimum 5 year relevant production experience with related diploma or degree. Experience with FSSC 22000. Previous staff management required.

Remuneration: Market related.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
