RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced GENERAL MANAGER (EVENTS INDUSTRY) for a well-established company based in Pietermaritzburg.


REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (exemption).
Relevant qualification a strong advantage (Management, Marketing & Sales qualification or similar).
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous experience on accounting packages (eg. Pastel, QuickBooks, etc).
Previous experience in the eventing industry a strong advantage.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Would suit a young, dynamic person.
English speaking (must be able to speak, read and write English competently).
Would suit someone with sound management skills, sales and marketing experience, client relations skills and finance background.
The suitable candidate must be able to manage staff effectively on day-to-day basis as well as help them to reach targets as set out by Managing Director.
Strong sales experience will be advantage.
Exceptional client relations skills.
Financial background needed to set up departmental budgets and analyse sales to report back to Managing Director monthly and quarterly.

Salary package offered: - R20 000-00 – R25 000-00 per month (CTC) (no benefits included)
