Excellent opportunity exists for a General Manager: Legal Services – Johannesburg

R 1.5 - R 2 million per annum


Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and direction in terms of Legal Services policies, practices and processes and through this ensure conformity and compliance and contribute to maintaining the Organisation’s credibility in the Labour Market

Key Requirements:

• LLB or equivalent Legal Qualification.
• Admission as an Attorney or Advocate.
• 6 to 10 years’ experience in law practice and managerial skills.

• Strategic Leadership
• Monitor efficiencies
• Provide a practical Legal Advisory Service
• Propose amendments to the LRA
• Monitor reviews in the Labour Court
• Manage the Organisation’s Litigation and Contracts Portfolios
• Manage the Research, Library and Compliance functions.
• Financial/Budget Management
