A national Civil and Financial giant is urgently looking for a (EE) General Manager for the Marketing Division.

? 10-15 years’ experience with demonstrated levels of performance across various marketing functions
? A Commercial Postgraduate qualification

Job Responsibilities/Duties
? Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the company.
? Plan and administer the company’s Marketing budget and keep cost in control.
? Customize materials according to specific market or customer requirements.
? Supervise Marketing Assistants and Communications Managers
? Build and develop a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and efficient.
? Manage day to day activity with PR, press and marketing activations and communications agencies

Brand, Media & Sponsorships
? Own the development of the brand strategy and objectives in line with the vision and mission of the organization
? Translate the brand strategy into brand plans, positioning and go-to market strategies
? Analyse and benchmark the brand positioning against competitors; identify gaps and opportunities to improve the brand score and consideration
? Ensure brand and service attributes align
? Champion brand advocacy
? Develop the correct media mix to support communication campaigns
? Build strong relationships with media owners and industry analysts
? Create a sponsorship framework and identify valuable properties to associate with.

Communications
? Lead the creative development and create motivating stimulus to get the targeted population to take action
? Develop and execute against a campaign calendar in line with the brand objectives
? Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
? Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with brand and product line strategy
? Coordinate, prepare and launch new products for the assigned market(s) with cooperation of the respective sales department
? Create an internal communications plan that will drive engagement, working with all executives to ensure the employee NPS objectives are met

Public Relations and Stakeholder Management
? Identify key stakeholders for the bank
? Develop a stakeholder management/engagement strategy and tactical plans
? Monitor and manage stakeholder sentiments in the market ? Plan publicity strategies and campaigns ? Produce press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for web sites ? Deal with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations ? Analyse media coverage and report back to management on trending issues
? Manage the bank’s reputation and develop a crisis management framework

Channel Support
Segment Marketing & Product Innovation
? Keep a tab on pricing structures, gross margin and profitability
? Working closely with Sales to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand objectives
? Monitor and analyze all marketing and sales reports
? Develop insights-driven value propositions to address gaps in the market, respond to changing customer needs
? Identify new revenue opportunities in the market
? Review the current offering and tailor it to bring fresh new innovations
? Implement marketing plan changes based on insights
