Minimum Requirements...
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Suitable tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) in architecture, building science, building management or civil engineering

EXPERIENCE:
• 10 years post graduate experience in construction project management
• Specific experience in the fenestration industry would be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
• Ability to respond to customer's needs, enquiries, complaints, regulatory agencies and members of the business community
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a team as well as present information to top management, public groups and/or board of directors
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance at all times

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Develop and execute the Sales & Marketing strategy in line with the Operating Group's strategy
• Develop and Manage the Sales & Marketing Budget
• Provide direction and high level functional guidance to the Business Unit and its branches in respect of market intelligence and the implementation of the marketing strategy
• Overall responsibility for the day to day operational management of the business unit
• Full responsibility for the profit and loss
• Good commercial and financial understanding
• Conduct regular market assessment to quantify opportunities and uncover new opportunities via primary and/or secondary research
• Ensure the prospect pipeline is regularly updated and accurate
• Assist in planning and coordinating Business Unit conferences and industry related gatherings
• Review tenders and negotiate contracts
• Oversee creation of marketing collateral in brand building to raise our brand equity
• Develop Sales & Marketing metrics in order to evaluate the group's marketing efforts
• Manage client relationships, surveys and perceptions
• Manage the performance of the BU Sales & Marketing personnel.
