An exciting opportunity in Maputo has become available for an energetic, driven and analytical individual. The successful incumbent will lead the business that provides automotive products to the market by managing warehousing, sales, administration and distribution services and the relevant staff. A self starter who is good with people and willing to relocate to Mozambique will find this opportunity exciting, lucrative and a platform with which to launch their career within the broader Group.
Responsibilities include, amongst others: ? Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. ? Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents. ? Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditure, analyze monthly sales and expense variances and initiate any necessary corrective actions to achieve financial objectives. ? Submit monthly management reports. ? Recruiting, selecting, and training employees. ? Compliance with all local laws relating to doing business in Mozambique. ? Oversee all staff and operations to ensure effective and efficient running of the business. ? Ensure costs within budget. ? Ensure sales targets are met and overall responsibility for bottom line performance of the entity.
Skill Requirements: ? At least 2 years experience in a similar role ? Strong financial skills (B COMM or similar form accounting related qualification required) ? Strong report writing skills in English ? Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is advantageous) ? Good knowledge of ERP systems ? Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally
