Short term insurance administration and underwriting management company based in Bedfordview is current recruiting for a Head of Claims.

The Head of claims will be responsible for the management, planning and control of the entire claims function. Including, Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Motor & Non Motor Claims as well as Third Parties & Recoveries, and Claims Assessing.

The Head of claims will be required to apply their knowledge and expertise in systems, market interface, products, policy wording and claims handling on a daily basis.

Short & Long term strategic planning for the division, overseeing the entire decision making process of technicians, supervisors & managers; as well as ensuring that service levels and work flow procedures meet appropriate standards.

Furthermore the Head of Claims, as a member of the Executive team, research, collate and examine coverage information and make highly complex short-term claim settlement determinations, and within Company guidelines approve or deny payment.
