GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this role is to manage a business unit’s performance against budget. It will also be expected that the role develops and co-ordinates call centre strategies and operations; addressing client needs; to effectively grow the business unit. To be accountable for the call centre service level criteria and to ensure effective operations. To ensure on-going optimization of staff performance, workflows, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Formal qualification(s):

· Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4

· Bachelor’s Degree or related experience

Legal requirements

· Passed credit and criminal checks

· S.A Permanent Resident or valid work permit for S.A

Experience

· 5+ years’ related experience.

· 3+ years’ experience managing a cross-functional team, or multiple teams; or 3+ years’ experience in a mid-senior managerial role.

· Strong operational management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams;

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management, internally and externally through diplomacy and tact;

· Attention to detail and focus on optimizing and improving performance levels within teams;

· Technical competence within Microsoft office suite essential, additional technical experience advantageous.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills;

· Knowledge of the telecommunications market is essential.
