HR Admin & Payroll Manager

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in our client’s HR Dept – manage and lead the Payroll and HR Administration teams ensuring that all processes are efficient, compliant and that necessary audit controls are in place.

To be considered you have 5+ years’ experience in managing Payroll & HR Admin function and knowledge of the latest payroll technology and process trends.

Responsibilities to include:
• Assume full accountability and management of the payroll function end to end, including balance sheet and financial / statutory reconciliations
• Manage the payroll system, leading streamlining processes and ensuring accurate inputting of data
• Monthly review of payroll processing and payroll financials
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5 staff
• Oversee reporting – internally & externally
• Provide the business with relevant MIS reporting
• Manage Dept. budget
• Manage relevant service providers
• Oversee any audits conducted – internally & externally – and finalise outstanding audit requirements

The necessary qualifications and experience include:
• Prior working in a high volume, large payroll environment (1000+ employees)
• VIP Payroll systems experience
• Related 3 year tertiary degree
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Proven track record in process improvement

Advantageous is your experience with high volume call centre payrolls within a financial environment.
