HR Assistant / Administrator - Cape Town - 1 Year Contract
We are currently recruiting for an Human Administrator who will be tasked with providing generalist HR and IR related Administrative support.
Must be able to start immediately - for a one year contract.
You will satisfy the following criteria:
• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management and/or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an HR Administration related experience
• Must preferably have at least 1 year experience within a Transport / Logistics or related environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including participation in staff meetings
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Provide a full effective and efficient admin support to the HR Management side of the Company
• Provide HR clerical support and co-ordinate HR communications
• Assist with monthly HR reports
• Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment for new staff in line with the authorisation process
• Support HR activities (projects, recruitment drives, training initiatives)
• Maintain high level of hygiene of work area
• Follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices when carrying out duties
• Manage and control employee records and ensure files are up to date
• General admin duties as may be determined by the demands of the business
Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Cape Town (Industria - close to International Airport)
