We are seeking an experience HR CONSULTANT for a High End Apparel Group to be based in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. The HR Consultant will be required to partner operationally with the business so as to contribute to the accomplishment of the Company’s objectives through providing Line Managers and employees with HR guidance whilst maintaining accountability for the effective delivery of HR Services in the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the HR Manager with the implementation of HR Management strategies
• Manage Recruitment and Selection processes, assisting management with selection decisions and effectively managing partner relationships
• To support with performance management interventions within the business, including performance reviews, performance coaching and counseling, advising line managers and employees throughout
• To support with succession planning, making recommendations to address the business current and future needs
• Assist the HR Manager in identifying training needs and identifying suitable learning interventions
• Oversee day to day remuneration issues, ensuring all information is submitted through to payroll timeously with regard to new appointments, salary increases, terminations etc
• Manage and facilitate employee relations issues, ensuring correct execution of disciplinary, grievance and consultation procedures and sound advice to Line Management and employees in compliance with relevant legislation. Represent company at CCMA
• Assist with onboarding, including induction and orientation programmes
• Provide accurate and timeous HR Management information and reports as required
• Ensure an effective HR Management Support Service is delivered to the region that meets the requirements of the business by constantly reviewing processes and practices, and obtaining feedback from the business
• Timeous submission of employee documents to payroll on a monthly basis.

Education and Experience required:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR/Industrial Psychology
• Minimum years’ experience in a Generalist HR capacity
• Must have HR experience in a FMCG/Retail environment

Skills and Abilities required:
• Solid understanding of local employment legislation and policies
• MS Office
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Reporting and Presentation

Salary: R35,000 to R40,000 CTC per month depending on relevant qualification and work experience
Start date: ASAP
