HR Advisor – based in Ga-Rankuwa- far Pta West R20 000 to 25000 CTC
Ensuring that the Employee Relations strategies, policies, procedures and practices comply with relevant labour legislation
Industrial Relations / Employee Relations:
• To ensure sound employment practices and legal compliance within the Company.
• Represent the company at CCMA cases together with the required preparations and case administration.
• Grievance resolution and dispute resolution.
• Assess and mitigate risks on all disciplinary, grievance and labour dispute matters.
• Provide sound tactical and legal advice to business units / area heads on labour matters and ensure healthy working relationships with relevant Trade Unions and Employee Association representatives.
• Ensuring statistical up-to-date HRIS/ER information is captured on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for the compilation of the ER month end report.
• Ensuring sound employee liaison between employees and management.
• Arranging and coordination of Wage Negotiations and Union Communication including minute taking and scheduling of the Wage Negotiation task team meetings.
• Arranging and coordination of Employee Association meetings including minute taking and scheduling of task team members.
• To provide related training to line management on applicable legislation or on related topics on an ad hoc and yearly basis.
• Conducting of investigations and coaching on all disciplinary preparations.
Employee Equity:
Assist with the Employment Equity plans, forum meetings, forum training, submissions and compilations to the Department of Labour.
• Assist in monitoring Employment Equity plans against actual plans on an ongoing basis and report to management.
• Provide the full administrative and reporting function for both entities Employment Equity plans.
Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment:
• Assist in developing and implementation BBBEE plans for both entities on an annual basis.
• Provide pro-active inputs and plans for achieving targeted scorecard.
• Provide the full administrative function on BBBEE for HR related action items.
Performance Management:
• To coordinate the Performance Management process and the applicable HRIS functionality and documentation.
• To provide related training to line management and employees.
Employee Wellness programmes:
• Develop, administer and implement Employee Wellness programmes for both entities (i.e. monthly topics of interest, HIV/AIDS campaigns, and wellness weeks).
• Arrange pre- and post medical screenings with applicable service providers.
HR Administration:
• To ensure that all HR related administration are prepared, safely stored and accurately captured on the HRIS system.
• To provide an integrated HR administrative service as and where needed.
• To assist in policy development, formulation, implementation and roll out.
• Ensure HR Code of Good Practices are followed and adhered to.
HR Projects and Service Delivery:
• To assist with HR related projects as and where needed and to continuously strive to implement best practice criteria (i.e. Climate Surveys/Motivational initiatives/Training etc.).
• To deliver high quality Human Resources products, projects and Business Partner and Generalist services for the organisation and meeting the needs of management, employees and other key stakeholders.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• 3 to 5 years working experience in a Human Resources field with a focus on Labour Relations.
• Essential Qualification: Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations / LLB Law.
• Desirable Qualification: Honours Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations.
REQUIREMENTS - EXPERIENCE
• Conversant in Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and BBBEE.
• A resourceful IR specialist with strong negotiation and communication skills
• Previous exposure to CCMA cases would be advantageous.
• Knowledge in basic HR administration.
• Knowledge of Employment Equity plans and the reporting thereof.
• Knowledge of BBBEE codes and the reporting thereof.
• Knowledge of the recruitment process.
• Ability to provide training to a diverse team.
• Must be highly computer literate.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Computer literacy: MS Office essential, VIP would be advantageous.
• Language ability: Must be able to converse, read and write fluently in English. Well versed in African languages would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to Ga-Rankuwa on a daily basis.
