HR Manager with minimum 3- 5 years’ relevant Generalist experience and formal HR qualification, required to assist with the commissioning process of this new hospital. Previous experience in a hospital environment highly advantageous.

Requirements:
• HR Degree / relevant tertiary qualification essential
• 3-5 years HR Generalist Management experience essential – preferably in a hospital environment
• Excellent working knowledge of BCEA, LRA and EEA required
• Knowledge of hospital operations in the private sector a distinct advanatge
• Strong understanding of HR legislation and requirements and the ability to apply such, required
• Sound knowledge of HR and IR practices and legislation required
• CCMA experience essential
• VIP Payroll knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the commissioning process of a new hospital
• Manage the recruitment of staff in conjunction with management
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Conduct reference checks and exit interviews
• Coordinate orientation and performance management processes
• Ensure all disciplinary procedures are adhered to in conjunction with Head Office
• Company representation at CCMA
• Administer and maintain employee record and filing system
• Manage disciplinary procedures and grievances
• Document accuracy control for Payroll purposes
• Process all administration with regards to COID, UIF, new appointments, terminations etc
• Benefits administration
• Coordinate uniform fittings and attend to all queries
• Ad hoc duties as required
