Requirements:
- Grade 12
- B Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 3 years working experience in an HR Manager role
- Sound working knowledge and experience in the application and maintenance of
* Employee Relations (IR)
* HR Administration Systems
* Business and Financial Acumen
* SA Labour Legislation
- Working knowledge and experience with Payroll Packages (preferably CRS) and MS Office
- Working knowledge and experience related to the application of Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act, OSH Act
and Employment Equity Act
- Experience with remuneration and benefits related issues, i.e. Provident Fund, Medical Aid, salary and wage administration

Responsibilities:
- Assume accountability for the recruitment processes including
* Assessments
* Appointments / Terminations
* Salary / Grading Reviews
- Assess and improve current recruitment processes
- Ensure overall legislative compliance to applicable Acts
- Handle and manage all trade union meetings within the business unit
- Assume overall accountability for all external and internal IR matters
- Facilitate the achievement of EE targets within the business unit
- Ensure all employment equity reporting is generated and submitted to the relevant stakeholders
- Review and monitor all employment equity figures
- Ensure that all Workplace Stakeholder Forum meetings are conducted as per legislative and company requirements
- Ensure remuneration and benefits structures policies are executed efficiently and according to requirements
- Assume overall accountability for correct and accurate HR information of the relevant HRM system
- Ensure all required HR reports meet legislative and company policy requirements
- Ensure that all employee movement is adequately traced and recorded
- Ensure that all training reporting requirements are submitted timeously and in line with company policies
- Assume overall accountability for the implementation of succession planning and performance management within the business unit
- Ensure that employee engagement is tracked and monitored within the unit
- Ensure HIV and AIDS policy awareness in the unit
- Implement and monitor employee well being framework
- Manage the on-site health care centre
