A relevant Degree/Diploma with a minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience and further experience in an HR management role and an additional qualification and experience in labour relations is essential. This Plant needs a candidate from manufacturing (preferably automotive) and a very strong unionised environment as you will be dealing with union issues daily. You need to be a high energy, self-starter, who is pro-active, an excellent communicator, able to build trust and rapport at all levels in the organisation. Solis MS Office skills. You are responsible for the Plant to deliver, develop and maintain an HR Department strategy that meets the needs of all stakeholder groups. You will conduct consultations with local union, be a member of the provident fund committee, plan, organise and direct HR programs and activities whilst promoting communication and involvement. Adherence to BOS and other HR related legal activities, meet profit plan objectives, ensure compliance to labour related issues, ensure equitable salary and wage admin, ensure skills programme and employment equity are implemented, champion performance management system.
