HR Manager
Salary: Up to R40 000 pm + Medical Aid
Job Purpose:
Our Client, a well-established company providing tourism services in Southern Africa, currently seeks a HR Manager to provide support services to their company. The poistion will be responsible for all human resource activities for the company and also providing advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation.
Key skill requirements:
• Min of 6yrs management experience within HR – preferably within a corporate environment.
• Training and development skills essential
• Must have good working knowledge on VIP Classic payroll system.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Good understanding of South African labour laws and practices.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and work ethic.
• Work well under pressure.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities:

South Africa
• Define and execute on strategic and operational strategy
• Drive local initiatives with the GM
• Provide advisory and assistance to CEO, GM and Managers in all HR related affairs
• Ensure all local policies are in place and adhered to
• Standardise processes, practices and policies
• Manage Workday
• Monthly HR reporting
• Staff planning and budgeting
• Recruitment and selection on HR platforms
• Process salaries and administer employee benefits
• Complete statutory documentation
• Keep staff updated on statutory changes
• Roll out yearly performance reviews
• Conduct staff orientation and training
• Draft position specific job descriptions, employment contracts and annexes as well as process confirmation of employment / probation documents etc.
• Deal with conflict situations and work closely with Managers regarding disciplinary issues
• Administrate the time management system and leave
• HR related Project Management
• Keep HR contracts updated and relevant
Global HR
• Driving, monitoring and executing all Global (group of KDM) processes and policies
• Close cooperation with global HRBP in driving global programs and standards
• Drive development, recognition and engagement
• Drive performance (strategic group focus)
