We are looking for an experienced HR MANAGER to join this well-known group of Lodges located with Game Reserve in Mpumalanga region. The purpose of Human Resources Manager is to maximize the productivity of the Game Reserve by optimizing the effectiveness of its employees. In so doing the focus is with the development of both individuals and the organization in which they operate. The HRM, then, is engaged not only in securing and developing the talents of individual employees and managers, but also in implementing programs that enhance communication and cooperation between all stakeholders to nurture organizational development. The HR Manager will manage the outputs in the following areas:
Custodian of Organisational Values and drive implementation:
Define and execute HR Business Plan
Drive initiatives and provide Change Management expertise to the management team
Provide Strategic Input and Advisory Service and assistance to GM, managers in all HR related affairs
Standardise processes, practices and develop HR SOPs
Monthly HR reporting
Staff planning and budgeting
Recruitment and Selection, talent management and retention
Process Salaries and administer Employee Benefits
Administrate and improve the Leave Management system
Complete statutory documentation and keep staff updated on statutory changes
Roll out Performance Reviews and drive performance improvement
Draft position specific job descriptions, employment contracts as well as process confirmation of employment / probation documents etc.
Manage IR climate and ensure effective enforcement of policies, procedures and code of conduct.
Ensure Legal Compliance and the fair application of labour laws
Provide leadership on all IR matters, include disciplinary enquiries and grievances.
Represent organisation at CCMA up to Arbitration level
Participate in Negotiations with the union
Deal with conflict situations, act as Mediator
HR related Project Management
Drive development, recognition and engagement
Drive and implement Organizational Wellness initiatives
Implement and manage Health & Safety Management framework
Develop and implement a Training and Development framework and facilitate training interventions
Employment Equity and Skills Development management and reporting
Drive Continuous Improvement through Kaizen initiatives
Effectively manage HR Team to ensure HR operational efficiency
Requirement and Qualifications required for this job:
HR Qualification/Degree/Post Graduate Degree
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
At least 3-5 years’ experience in an HR Management role in above output areas
Financial acumen and payroll administration working knowledge
Knowledge and practical application of all Labour legislation : BCEA; EEA; OHSA; LRA; SDA
Track record in mediation and arbitration and CCMA competence
Resilience

Thorough understanding and application of skills framework
Negotiation skills
