A career-enhancing opportunity for a hands-on HR Generalist has presented itself with one of the most notable wine estates in Stellenbosch. Report to the Human Resources Manager and provide HR generalist and consultative support to the business.

Start date: 1 June 2017

Your key outputs will include:
• Skills development compliance
• Talent acquisition process support
• On boarding process support
• Performance management process support
• Learning and Development process support
• Compliance with Employment Equity Act
• Manage employee relations
• HR projects and initiatives
• Provide management information reports
• Provide an HR information service to internal staff, job applicants, service
• providers and regulatory bodies
• Enable managers to employ best practices in people and team management

You are sufficiently skilled to be able to:
• Take responsibility, show initiative and take prompt action
• Set clear, planned activities and manage own time effectively
• Establish effective relationships with all stakeholders including external clients
• Communicate clearly and effectively – written and verbal skills
• Make prompt timely and clear decisions, sometimes with incomplete information – in a confident manner

Your knowledge and skills include:
• Educated to HR Degree level (will also consider 3 year Diploma)
• 3 – 5 years’ experience within an HR generalist function in medium sized organisations
• Sound knowledge of legislative compliance including labour law, EE & Skills Development
• SDF knowledge and experience
• MS Office proficiency
• Able to travel to and work in Stellenbosch – own transport & valid driver’s license
