Human Resource Officer – Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, Western Cape

The HR Officer is responsible for development, management, coordination and administration of Human Resources practices (1000 staff) and objectives that promote a high performance culture and provides operational HR support across all departments.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric, with National Diploma in Human Resources
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a HR Generalist / Practitioner
Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to develop, implement and maintain HR Administrative functions
Responsible to review and update current HR policies and procedures
Ensure all mandatory reports such as Workplace Skills Plan, Annual Training Report, Employment Equity are submitted timeously
Provide assistance to the business with regards to talent management and assist to identify top performers with management
Provide assistance with the implementation and maintenance of an effective Performance Management system in the organisation
Manage and administrate salary grading and benchmarks for pay scales
Implement recruitment strategy in line with organisation’s strategy and objectives
Assist management and with staffing solutions and provide an effective and professional recruitment and selection service to the business
Manage all Learning and Development initiatives
