GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The HR Officer, situated in Bloubergstrand (Cape Town), will be responsible for the effective functioning & administering of HR administration duties which includes, but not limited to, orientation administration; leave administration; monitoring of training; maintaining & updating of employee records & documentation; advising on pay & other remuneration issues including promotion & benefits; administering salary changes & reviews; monthly reporting; advising on day-to-day employment law; and advising staff & management on company policies and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS

• HR qualification;
• 1 - 3 years generalist HR experience;
• Excellent knowledge of South African employment legislation (BCEA, LRA, COID, etc.)
• Fully computer literate;
• Creative and transformative thinker;
• Self-motivated, positive, energetic with excellent leadership qualities;
• Excellent communication skills (both verbally & written) and a team player;
• Excellent human relation skills and ability to handle conflict;
• Requires confidentiality;
• Ability to motivate people to reach goals;
• Professional and friendly to a very high degree;
• Ability to manage and supervise responsibilities delegated to him / her;
• Excellent administration abilities and skills.

We offer a basic salary between R9k - R13k plus benefits such as medical aid, funeral cover and legal cover.
