Salary; R6000-R12 500 dep on experience

A vacancy exists within Human Resources Department for a Human Resource Administrator who will reside in Head Office, Plattekloof. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil HR function within the company and should be able to work and cope under pressure.

Responsibilities may include the following tasks but not limited to:

Payroll and Company Benefits

Administering payroll which includes capturing leave, overtime, petty cash etc. and maintaining employee
records

Month end reconciliations/update of spread sheets, UIF, payroll reports etc.
Provide staff with the necessary medical aid and retirement annuity forms
Process medical aid and retirement annuity applications (as required)
Recruitment

Responsible for the recruitment and selection process including drafting advertisement (internally & externally), telephonic interview, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, reference checks and regrets
Provide feedback to managers on recruitment and selection process
Ensure that induction is timeously completed
Compile a spreadsheet on recruitment for all CV’s received and send to Human Resource Manager every month
Employee Relations and People Management

Distribute disciplinary letters
Ensure that disciplinary action taken is consistent, fair, procedural and substantively correct
Keep disciplinary records filed and updated on applicable spreadsheet
Provide assistance and initiatives to boost staff morale, diversity and culture
Organise and Coordinate Wellness Day and other related presentations
Proactively discuss interventions, systems and procedures with the Human Resource Manager
Reports

Ensure payroll reports are accurately captured and distributed
Ensure that the employment equity spreadsheet is updated every month with all the information required
Assist with BBBEE verification audit file on all relevant elements of the scorecard (BBBEE Spreadsheet)
Administrative Function

Continuous revision and development on HR policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records by ensuring that all documentation is filed away timeously
Ensure files are labelled and archiving files are filed accordingly
Arrange HR weekly meetings and distribute minutes taken
Act in a confidential capacity
Requirements

Relevant Human Resources qualification (Diploma /Degree in Human Resources)
1-3 Years’ experience
Computer Literate in Pastel Payroll, MS Word, Office, PowerPoint, Excel
Strong administrative and communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work under pressure against deadlines
Valid South African ID.
