Overview:
Fetola is looking for an HR & Skills Development Senior Coordinator to join our team. This position is for an individual with a passion for Skills Development, Training, and Human Resource Management. You will be responsible for assisting the HR Department with efficient delivery of solutions and day to day administration.

Experience and Training:
• Relevant University Degree (Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Management, Project Management, or similar field)
• Basic knowledge of legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA)
• Two or more years’ experience in HR administration/working in an HR department (advantageous)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the Training and Development field; or any combination of training, education and experience for the required knowledge and abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Key Tasks:

Duties include but not limited to:

1. Coordinate all HR initiatives

• Successfully plan, structure and implement performance reviews, internal staff skills training, staff surveys and knowledge sharing sessions
• Ensure all feedback is captured, reviewed, analysed and recommendations made
• Work alongside training team to implement internal staff training sessions, monitor and evaluate outcomes

2. Recruitment and Selection:
• Identify recruitment needs with Project Managers/Department Heads and provide feedback to the HR team
• Propose recruitment strategy and ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure all vacancies are filled before deadline and recruitment process is followed
• Ensure all recruitment-related activities are carried out efficiently
• Look for efficient and innovative ways to recruit and/or streamline recruitment and selection process
• Manage Fetola’s Internship Programme
• Compile recruitment report

3. Induction
• Ensure orientation is successfully conducted by managing a checklist and arranging the agenda and activities with all key staff

4. Policies and Procedures
• Review and ensure policies are kept up to date
• Ensure policies are accessible and communicated to the team

5. HR Administration Support
• Provide guidance on all internal/external related HR communications and queries
• Generate report on HR related activities where needed

6. External Training and Workshop support
• Review and update training content
• Assist Training Manager with agenda and ensure sign off with facilitators
• Provide support/guidance to logistics coordinator and check-in
• Secure guest speakers and support facilitators
• Invite and host all stakeholders
• Attend training workshops as required
• Ensure training is facilitated within allocated time
• Support facilitators as required
• Manage and analyse workshop feedback
• Manage online e-learning component after workshops
• Make recommendations for future training interventions
