A career-enhancing opportunity exists for a seasoned, dynamic hands-on HR Manager with sound experience in providing HR generalist support and operating as a business partner within the distribution channel of the financial services sector.
Report to the Head of HR, work closely with management and employees within the Distribution channel and deliver an aligned strategic business and people agenda.
This is an urgent vacancy to start April/May 2017 (notice periods will be taken into consideration)

Your key outputs will include but are not limited to
• Manage HR and talent management processes across all aspects of the HR value chain including talent acquisition, on-boarding and deployment, probation, performance reviews, career and succession planning
• Provide HR advice and consultation to the business on ER matters (Employee Relations, workforce planning, diversity, compensation, HR policies, Employment Equity
• Ensure implementation of good governance and legislative compliance in all HR practices
• Manage and implement all related HR projects throughout the Distribution channel

Manage and deliver on HR related projects/deliverables

Knowledge, skills and requirements include:
Educated to degree level (Commercial degree in HR)
A minimum of at least 8 years’ experience within a HR generalist function in a leadership role of which at least 5 years were in the financial services industry with exposure to servicing a distribution channel
Proven experience in implementing projects and managing change
Expert in legislative knowledge and compliance
MS Office proficiency
Bilingual in English & Afrikaans – essential
Strong business acumen
Analytical with a strong aptitude for figures
Budget management experience
Strong report and proposal writing
Able to travel to locally and regionally
Own transport and valid driver’s license
