The main purpose: The formulation of all human resources development; the design implementation and coordination of policies; the recruitment, selection and induction of employees; training; employment relations; remuneration and benefits; payroll; labour efficiency management and management of the CTICC personnel budget.

Reporting to the: Chief Executive Officer

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Human Resources Management: Meet/liaise with the CEO, Executives and Managers on a daily/weekly basis to ensure correct execution of the human resources functions, meeting all deadlines as stipulated and agreed upon. Must have the ability to supervise and lead the HR Team.

• Recruitment and Selection: Co-ordinates specific requirements associated with the Recruitment and Selection of employees to support the operational and administrative requirements.

• Employee Relations: Co-ordinate specific requirements associated with the application of the Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure at the operational level.

• Employee Assistance and Welfare: Provide counselling service to team as and when required minimising any negative impact on employees, management and the organisation. Monitor employee welfare and morale.

• Remuneration & Benefits: Research and implements Remuneration & Benefit systems that meet the requirements of current legislation. Research and align remuneration policy with the current norm industry.

• Salary and HR Annual Budgets: Prepare the Annual HR and salary budgets and monitor on an ongoing basis, ensuring all new positions are aligned to the budget.

• Training and Development: Identify the training and development needs for all the departments and ensure all team members are mentored to achieve the desired competencies.
• Performance Management: Apply methods and standards to determine specific requirements and dimensions of the Performance Management. To ensure ongoing performance management and bi-annual performance reviews in order to provide opportunities to appraise progress in achieving goals and recognize exceptional performance.

• HR Reporting: Prepare all relevant HR monthly reports and forward as per deadline.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required:
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management (NQF 7)
• Minimum 10 years working experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years at a Senior Management level.

• Microsoft office and advanced Excel skills

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Succession Planning, Industrial Relations, CCMA, Employee Relations, Remuneration & Compensation, Audit requirements, Performance Management.
• Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS):
• VIP Payroll, Leave and ESS system
