Our client in the tooling industry successful incumbent will be working in a high pressured environment requiring extensive technical ability and knowledge.
Optimize the profitability of allocated accounts, by managing relationships with the Industrial and Retail Customers and supporting them to exceed their sales targets of our focused product range.
Good understanding of sales cycle and key account management
Detailed product and industry knowledge
In depth knowledge of competitor’s products
Good business acumen (i.e. numeracy skills, generation of profit and loss, cash flow, margin)
Complete and submit a comprehensive monthly Customer Call Cycle Planner and weekly Call Report
Build trust and confidence Customer through reliable and consistent service delivery and industry and product knowledge
Resolve complaints and queries effectively
Determine training needs and provide relevant training on product benefits
Assist or facilitate intervention at end user level with a view to recommending correct product offering or basic fault diagnosis
Attend sales and product knowledge training sessions
Monitor turnaround of Customer’s returns and repairs and escalate where required
5 years’ experience in the Industrial sales sector (mining, engineering, construction)
Matric or NTC3
Post matric qualification essential
Clear Criminal Record
+/- R45 000 - R55 000 CTC candidate dependant.
