Integrated Hygiene Cleaning Area Manager - Durban - R 20k pm + ben

Salary - R20 000 pm negotiable on experience
Fuel and Vehicle Maintenance allowance
Must have Own Vehicle

Requirements:
• Must be from the industry
• Must have ISO audit knowledge and understanding
• Manage cleaning sites
• Deal with HR issues
• Must have food industry accreditation / qualification
• Must come from the Cleaning and Hygiene industry
• Must have food and hospitality cleaning and hygiene experience
• Must have 2-3 years’ experience in this role
• Own Vehicle essential

PURPOSE:
To maintain contract cleaning revenue and operations to run at optimal efficiency and ensure contract retention & client relationships are maintained.

EDUCATION , EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
• Business Manager diploma/ degree
• Minimum 5 years Operations and general management experience
• Strong HR experience
• Good customer liaison skills / strong communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft programmes
• Ability to manage and supervise cleaning personnel and supervisors
• Strong written communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
• Management of all cleaning contract operations
• Management of all cleaning capital equipment in the field
• Responsible for all training of cleaners
• Responsible for the recruitment of cleaning personal according to company policy & procedures
• Responsible for maintaining and managing all cleaning chemical and equipment costs and expenditure per site
• Responsible for attending to all disciplinary and HR issues in cleaning division
• Ensure all staff are inducted and maintain all health and safety procedures on all customer sites
• Responsible for ensuring staff are provided with protective wear on an annual basis
• Good customer relations and regular visits and completion of site inspections forms
• Ensuring the cleaning standards are maintained to ISO standards at customer sites
• Collate any accidents reports on site – stats to Ops Manager
• Collate and submit cleaning staff time sheets for payroll processing monthly
• Occasionally transport staff to site when absenteeism occurs
• Assist when required on additional cleaning division projects such as window cleaning & event cleaning
• Ensure company vehicle checks are done regularly and vehicle is clean and optimal at all times
• Manage and account for personal and site supervisor expenses such as cell phone , 3G and fuel
