A hospitality services company, based in Centurion, are currently looking for a JUNIOR reservation/marketing consultant to start as soon as possible.
Salary: R3500 – R4000 per month (with possible commission structure) Salary will be reviewed after 3 months
Hours: Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:00 (every other weekend – work from home over weekends)

Knowledge / qualifications:
• Experience with reservations and channel managers are a bonus (Semper / Nightsbridge)
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently
• Microsoft Office – including a good knowledge of Excel
• Very good knowledge of internet browsing and competitor comparisons
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and most important the accommodation sector
• Knowledge of OTA such as , SafariNow, Expedia, Travelground, Rooms for Africa, etc.
• Certificate in hospitality and or marketing
• Bilingual (Afrikaans & English read, write and speak)
• Drivers license and own transport

Responsibilities:
Reservation Responsibilities
• Doing quotes, taking reservations and processing payments for reservations
• All admin. Related to reservations from communicating with clients to handing over the reservation to the establishment making sure all guest requirements have been communicated clearly to the property
• Processing the reservation on the system, creating invoice and sending it to clients
• Follow up on outstanding payments and assisting with possible extras like booking activities and transfers
• Recon of all bookings at the end of the month for OTA’s, travel agents, direct bookings, etc.
• Updating the monthly financial sheet in Excel

Marketing Growth opportunity
• Creating, updating and maintaining online listings for establishments on OTA channels (websites) like / Expedia / SafariNow / Lekkeslaap / Travelground / etc.
• Collecting data on new market trends
• Social media updates
• Compiling of month end reports
• Running promotions and specials online
• Rate comparison
• Communication between OTA’s and Channel manager (Nightsbridge)
